UNIM Bone Officially Departs 21 Students for the National Muhammadiyah Aisyiyah KKN (KKN MAS) in Riau Province

Bone, July 28, 2025 – Muhammadiyah University of Bone (UNIM Bone) has officially dispatched 21 students to participate in the 2025 Muhammadiyah Aisyiyah Community Field Work (KKN MAS) program, held in Riau Province from July 28 to September 5, 2025.

The send-off ceremony took place at the UNIM Bone campus yard, led directly by the Rector, accompanied by the university leadership and representatives from the Institute for Research, Publishing, and Community Service (LP3M). In his remarks, the Rector expressed high hopes that the students would serve as campus ambassadors capable of implementing knowledge, Islamic values, and the spirit of community service.

“This KKN MAS is not only a platform for service but also a means to strengthen cooperation among students from Muhammadiyah-Aisyiyah Higher Education Institutions (PTMA) across Indonesia. UNIM Bone students are expected to uphold the campus’s reputation, demonstrate dedication, and synergize with the people of Riau,” the Rector of UNIM Bone stated during his speech.

The 2025 KKN MAS program is a collaborative effort between PTMAs, with participants stationed in various areas within Siak Regency, Riau. Students will execute several work programs, including public health education, digital literacy, rural potential development, MSME empowerment, as well as religious and socio-community training.

LP3M UNIM Bone also emphasized the importance of ethics, cultural tolerance, and adaptability as the students engage with a community rich in distinct Malay traditions and culture.

With a spirit of service and enlightening mission (dakwah pencerahan), the participation of UNIM Bone students in KKN MAS 2025 is expected to create a positive impact and reinforce the tangible contribution of Muhammadiyah Higher Education in nation-building through direct community engagement.
