In order to enhance students’ practical competencies, FPP UNIM Bone has scheduled the implementation of the Integrated Field Practicum for the Agribusiness and Animal Husbandry Study Programs. This activity aims to provide direct experience in the modern agricultural and livestock industries. Students are expected to apply the theories learned in class to real-life field situations.
All participants are required to attend the technical briefing session guided by the practicum coordinator lecturers. This briefing will cover data collection methodologies, occupational safety procedures, and ethical conduct while at the industrial partner locations. Necessary practicum gear, such as lab coats or field uniforms, must be prepared prior to departure.
The results of this field practicum will be compiled into a comprehensive report, which serves as a key component of the relevant course assessment. The faculty hopes that through this activity, a stronger synergy between the academic world and industrial needs can be established. Information regarding group divisions and partner locations can be downloaded via the attachment below this announcement.
