Bone, July 31, 2025 — Muhammadiyah University of Bone (UNIM Bone) has once again recorded a brilliant achievement at the national level. In an official announcement released by the Directorate General of Learning and Student Affairs (Ditjen Belmawa) of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, UNIM Bone successfully secured the 4th National Rank in the 2025 Student Creativity Program (PKM) Incentive for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Green Future Technology (GFT) schemes.
This success is an extraordinary milestone considering the intense competition among hundreds of universities across Indonesia. The Rector of Muhammadiyah University of Bone, Dr. H. Muhammad Jafar, S.Pd., M.Pd., expressed deep gratitude and high appreciation to the student teams and supervising lecturers who worked tirelessly to draft and develop the proposals.
“This achievement proves that UNIM Bone students are capable of competing nationally, even in schemes that demand high competence such as AI and GFT. This serves as a great motivation for us to continue fostering a culture of research, creativity, and innovation among students,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the Vice Rector III for Student Affairs, Gunawan, S.Pd., M.Pd., added that this accomplishment is the result of an intensive coaching process conducted by the Student and Alumni Development Institute (LPKA) of UNIM Bone.
“We will continue to strengthen the PKM coaching ecosystem so that more students can produce innovative works that benefit society,” he added.
Securing the 4th national rank not only brings pride to the UNIM Bone academic community but also serves as concrete evidence of the advancing quality of education and student development within Private Higher Education Institutions (PTS) in eastern Indonesia.
With this achievement, Muhammadiyah University of Bone further solidifies its position as a progressive university in nurturing an innovative and adaptive young generation, particularly in the fields of technology and the environment.
